Manual handling level 2 course

This one day course covers the practical aspects of moving and handling people safely. It is recommended that all staff are updated at least annually in moving and handling people. The most common form of injury caused by manual handling is spinal injury. Carers who handle people as part of their daily tasks are the most at-risk group when it comes to back injury. We are more likely to injure ourselves than people in any other profession.
