The Train as a Gas Engineer (Level 2 & 3) is ideal for learners wanting focused gas training that will allow you to work safely and legally as a CORGI registered Domestic Gas Engineer.
The course offers a great mix of practical, theoretical and work placement learning for people from all backgrounds. We assume no prior knowledge, but move on at a good pace so you can really get to grips with the tricks of the trade!

The course runs over a 24 week period and is broken down as follows:
*2 weeks practical training at MET-UK, Mon-Fri (9am-4pm)
*9 weeks managed work placement in your local area, minimum 2 days per week
*3 weeks practical training at MET-UK, Mon-Fri (9am-4pm)
*8 weeks managed work placement in your local area, minimum 2 days per week
*2 weeks refresher training and assessment, Mon-Fri (9am-4pm)
Level 2 Qualifications Achieved
City & Guilds (6132) Certificate in Domestic Natural Gas Installation and Maintenance
Level 3 Qualifications Achieved
ACS Assessments - Core Gas Safety (CCN1) plus a choice of up to 3 appliances from the following: Central Heating (CEN1), Water Heaters (WAT1), Gas Fires (HTR1), Cookers (CKR1), Ducted Warm Air (DAH1), Meters (MET1), Leisure (LEI1), CPA1
BPEC (Level 3) Part L - Energy Efficiency
