Korean hand therapy is a recently new developed therapy. It is also called Korean Hand Acupuncture (Koryo Sooji Chim). Dr Tae Woo Yoo researched this therapy from 1971 to 1975. KHT theorizes that our hands are the micro-universe of our bodies. The theories and diagnostic methods of KHT include many different ways including Correspondence and 14 Micro Meridian Therapy.

Korean Hand Therapy is based on a reflexology map. Pain, tension and disease are reflected in hands as “tender points”. Locating and treating these points will often alleviate and resolve pain and dysfunction in other parts of the body. KHT Correspondence Therapy teaches precise targeting of specific areas of the body in the hands.

KHT can be used for a wide variety of conditions including:
• Musculo-skeletal pains like sprains, tendonitis and arthritis
• Headache, migraine, back and neck pain
• Respiratory symptoms lime the common cold, soar throat, ear pain.
• Digestive problems
