This advanced professional course provides students with a thorough and informative training in hypnotherapy leading to a Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis. The course is filled with a mixture of practice session and theory with the emphasis on understanding the meaning of trance and hypnotic technique, which can assist in alleviating a wide range of psychological problems. The training will allow therapist to take clients into a deeper level of trance, enabling them to connect with their unconscious mind, which would not otherwise have been possible. All students are expected to take full case histories, to maintain confidential records and to communicate with practitioners engaged in other fields of therapy. Throughout the training there will be an emphasis on; self-awareness, personal growth and development. The practice of co-counselling is encouraged and supported. Students will be required to complete case studies between the course weekends. Opportunities are given for students to present and offer case histories for open discussion by peers and tutors. Students are also encouraged to meet regularly between the course weekends to enhance their skills and benefit from the exchange of information with other students and those who are already working in the caring professions. The course is taught and supervised by tutors who are all professional practitioners. Guest lecturers who specialise in a particular field are also invited to provide course instruction from time to time. Their is an written and oral assessment at the end of this course.

WHO IS ELLIGIBLE There are two routes of entry: have completed a Certificate Level 3 course in integrative hypnotherapy and psychotherapy, OR have completed at least one years full time study on a recognised counselling qualification and having completed a foundation course in hypotherapy. COURSE REQUIRMENT Anyone who wishes to become a therapist can achieve this thorough our omprehensive integrative hypnotherapy course. This intergative Gypnotheray and Psychotherapy course to meet latest requirements of the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) Students will be encouraged and supported to prepare six case histories and four homework assignments to submit for assessment and discussion. The course delivers an advanced level of information and learning material required to achieve this and taught in an engaging, professional, relaxed and informative way. You will bring the skills and aptitude to make it a success. COURSE ENTITLEMENTS On successful completion of the course you will be entitled to: Use the letter (DipCHP) after your name and the General qualification in Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy (GQCHP). You will be eligible to apply to join the GHR Use the Diploma as evidence for conitnuing Profesional Development. Subject to application, this course is accepted by major insurance firms as evidence of capability to practice and elligibility for professional insurance cover. INVESTMENT The taught component of this course is conducted at weekends; one weekend per month, for ten months. Plus one day for the assessment. The training days are from 10.00am until 5.00pm. There is an optional assessment fee due on the last weekend of the course (currently this is capped at £170). Whilst full payment is required before you start, you can pay by credit card, monthly standing order, cheque or cash.
