Our training in challenging behaviours and physical intervention is accredited by the British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD). It is aimed at all levels of staff providing services to adults and children with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. The course can be delivered on 3 levels: All include: theory, legal & ethical aspects, de-escalation strategies and designing strategies. Optional additional units: Breakaway & Restrictive Physical Interventions.

Delivered in-house or as open courses. We also offer a Trainer Development Programme which enables successful participants to deliver our BILD accredited courses in-house (this is often a more cost-effective solution for larger organisations). It is a BTEC Professional Award for Training in Challenging Behaviours & Physical Interventions. For NHS clients, our courses are PSTS compliant.
