Further Details
Business Analysis Essentials introduces delegates to effective business analysis techniques that cover problem investigation and the development of solutions for business problems that range from those created by changes in the external business environment to an efficiency need to streamline business processes. The business analysis techniques include PESTLE, Porter’s 5 forces, SWOT analysis, MOST analysis, stakeholder analysis, business activity modelling, gap analysis and process modelling.
Requirements Engineering sets standards for describing and documenting Information System (IS) requirements, analysing the quality of requirements and describes the various techniques for validating requirements within different phases of a project. To help identify IS requirements delegates are introduced to the basic concepts of the key UML modelling techniques of Use Cases, Use Case Scenarios and Object Class Models. Maintaining the quality of requirements is covered through the Management of Change and the role of CASE tools in the support of Configuration Management.
Delegates gain practical skills by applying the techniques to live case studies taken straight out of course delegates' experience. We keep class sizes small to enable individual attention.
