Building a HACCP plan

What topics are covered by the course?

This programme includes a workshop and optional mentoring session.

Stage one is a half day HACCP workshop held at RSPH head office in London. This will introduce you to HACCP and support you in designing your own HACCP plan.

Stage two consists of a mentoring visit to your own food business. You will be allocated your own experienced and qualified mentor from RSPH. They will observe your catering business in action, check this against your completed documentation to ensure full implementation of your food safety management system.

Who should attend?

This course is for catering and food businesses. You will need to have attended food safety training within the last two years to prepare you effectively for the programme.

What will I be able to do on completion?

On completion of this programme student will understand what a HACCP plan is and how to develop one.

How will I be assessed?

The programme does not include a formal assessment.
