Managing Safely is an IOSH accredited course for employees who have to manage risk and resources within their organisation. It is designed for those required to manage safely and effectively in compliance with both their organisations policy and best practice in health and safety. The course focuses on ensuring that safety requirements are appreciated by people employed as line managers, and to enable them to review their own departmental systems for safety, introducing new controls or implementing changes as appropriate to ensure safety in the workplace.

Further Details

Delegates who successfully pass the written and practical assessments on the course will be awarded an IOSH ‘Managing Safely’ certificate. The written assessments are in the form of a project, as agreed with the individual delegate at the beginning of the course, which will be completed over the duration of the course and a 45 minute assessment paper consisting of 20 multi-format questions designed to evaluate the delegates understanding of the course material.
