Understanding the principles and practices of internally quality assuring assessment activity - the importance of IQA activity, how to plan QA activity, how to carry out IQA activity - what you should be looking for, how to give support to assessors and review their assessment practice.

Assessors looking to take the next step on their career ladder.
Delegates must have achieved their A1 / AVA (Assessors Award) and be able to carry out IQA activity on 2 assessors.

What will I be able to do on completion?

Be qualified to carry out IQA activity.

How will I be assessed?

Knowledge is assessed through question and answer. Competence is assessed through production of IQA reports and observation of IQA activity (including an IQA observation) and giving feedback to assessors.

Delegates must have achieved the level 3 Assessors Award and have access to at least 2 assessors to carry out IQA activity of their work.
