What topics are covered by the course?

This course helps you make the most of the flexibility of the repost designer, to manipulate data when used in conjunction with MS – Office, to see how Forecasting can help financial planning with your Sage data and how to deliver management information across your network.

In order to attend this course it’s necessary to on our Sage 200 Level 1 course or equivalent.

- Expressions and Filters
Learn how to insert calculations, how to filter information and change the presentation of information.

- Groups and Totals
Learn how to insert groups and sub-sections, how to have sub-totals and grand totals, and how to add multiple sorts and groups.

- Criteria
Learn to split debits and credits, how to add time / transaction ranges to reports.

- Basic ODBC Links
Learn how to use the ODBC (Open DataBase Connectivity) utility to link Sage data to Excel for advanced graphs and charts. Learn to link Sage to Word for mail-merging. Learn how to install MS-Query.

- Budgeting
Learn how to create budgets and variance reports.

- Financial Reports Layouts
Learn how to create financial reports including row definitions and column definitions.

Who should attend?

The course is designed for systems administrators and managers as it covers both set-up decisions and day to day system management.
