The purpose of these modules is to help participants:
• Understand concepts of team competency and interdependence.
• Develop an understanding of the importance of sharing information, building knowledge, team competencies, trust creation, and high performance culture.
• Introduce the key concepts of the workshop including the:
o People can create more together than alone.
o Win/Win is possible and more productive than Lose/Win.
o Reasons that hierarchy and fixed roles can slow performance
o Conditions for developing high performance culture
o Obstacles and beliefs that prevent high performance culture
After completing these modules, the participants will be able to:
• Understand the characteristics of high performance teams and culture
• Acknowledge their own weaknesses
• Recognise their own strengths
• Reject limitations including those explicit in roles and education
• Realize that they can be whole people who develop beyond stereotypes
• Understand the different types of intelligence
• Make plans to increase their own self-confidence
• Understand the business benefits of putting people first
• Recognise how teams are not just groups of individuals
