The Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (6302) is for Pre-service or In-service Teachers or Associate Teachers, and is aimed at candidates who:
would like or require an introduction to teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector or are seeking career progression within their area of work or will be/are, or, teach on a one-to-one and/or group basis.
Qualification Description:- The qualification is suitable for those who work or want to work as:
teachers in the Lifelong Learning Sector, i.e. further, adult and community education, work-based learning and the voluntary sector, provided they are qualified/experienced in the subject they intend to teach at the appropriate level.
Course Duration:- 4 and a half Days are allocated for programme delivery; this includes group tutorials and the delivery of the theory aspect of the assignments.

A further 30 hours is recommended for non-contact time, which will cover the candidates’ individual tutorial support time, developmental activities, research, self-study and teaching practice.
