An intense 4 day course that is suitable for anyone, no previous experience is required. From the moment you start the course you will go straight into your own work bay and keep working for the duration of the 4 days and within 30 mins you will understand that this course is a "very practical" course. Your tutor will be there from the minute you start to give you over 25 years of experience which he has gained and you will certainly have all of your questions answered and time given to ensure that when you have finished your course: You feel Confident about plastering! You will know that you can create a professional finish! You will know what to do when problems arise! You will have a Naltionally Recognised Award in Plastering!

The course will teach you how to:
Prepare walls and ceilings to receive plaster & plasterboards.
Cut and fix plasterboard to walls and ceilings
Apply bonding and sand & cement as backing coats
Fix angle beads round windows and corners
Apply finishing plaster to backing coats, plasterboards etc
Skimming to a high professional finish
Re-plaster, patch & repair existing walls
Cut and fix coving
Plaster over Artex
You will work in a bay with an opening and window and will plaster over plasterboard and rendered walls.
At the end of the course you will have a good basic knowledge of plastering methods and techniques, enabling you to approach any job with confidence.
