NVQ Level 2 Tiling
The NVQ 2 in Wall and Floor tiling has to be one of the most rewarding courses that we have to offer here at Beyond Construction, the tiling industry is notoriusly short of qualified staff and tilers are always in demand, add to that the looming requirement for tilers to hold a minimum level 2 qualification you can find yourself in a very favorable position once you gain this respected qualification.
NVQ 2 in Wall and Floor tiling is about you being able to demonstrate that you are competent in the various areas of the qualification, this is achieved by being assessed when you are doing real work in peoples home on on site by one of our CITB/City and Guilds accredited assesors. Once the areas have been identified where development is needed an action plan is developed and timescales set.
The NVQ 2 takes around 20 weeks to complete.

Finding a tiler these days is becoming increasingly more difficult and our trainers and facilities are something which we are very proud of. Our tutor, Rob is renowned in the north east for his skills in the most complex of tiling tasks and is regularly contacted by all of the distributers of the tiles to lay all of the lastest designs which require a lot more skill and intricacy such as Underfloor heating, Karndean flooring etc..
We also have facilities which are second to none, with over 22 thousand square feet each student gets their own bay which has a bathroom suite, electrical sockets, light switches and everything you would expect if you were doing a tiling job after the course has finished.
