All employers in the UK have a legal obligation to make first aid provision for their employees. Under the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, an employer is required to provide equipment and facilities to enable first aid to be given to employees if they are injured or become ill at work. Companies are required by law to provide a suitable number of people who can administer this first aid. Manchester Training offers a four day course covering all aspects of First Aid at Work, including: Dealing with the incident, priority of first aid Managing an incident C.P.R. The unconscious casualty Head injuries Control of bleeding Burns Shock Epilepsy Approved codes of practice Poisons Bandages First Aid at Work Regulations, Health & Safety On successful completion of the course, delegates receive the H.S.E. First Aid at Work Certificate, which is valid for three years.
