How is the course assessed

Who should attend?

Suitable for those who have decided that they wish to enter a particular area of work. It is broadly equivalent to four GCSEs.

16-18 year olds.
19 24 years old (subject to terms and conditions)
English and maths or a relevant Level 1 course, including English/Maths.
Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET)

What will I be able to do on completion?

This can be treated as the equivalent of 4 GCSEs and can be used with your other qualifications to progress onto the level 3 BTEC National Subsidiary / Extended Diploma in IT, or other subjects, providing you meet any specific entry requirements. Alternatively you could go straight into employment or an IT Apprenticeship.

Examples of job roles that students on this course may go onto include: IT Systems Support, Software Developer, IT Apprenticeship.

Range of assessments to cover areas of study including exam and time constrained assignments.
