What topics are covered by the course?

Unit 1: Working in the Private Security Industry
Assessed by a 1 hour 40 question multiple-choice examination. Candidates must achieve a score of at least 28 out of 40 to pass this unit.
Unit 2: Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry
Assessed by a 1 hour 15 minute 45 question multiple-choice examination. Candidates must achieve a score of at least 32 out of 45 to pass this unit.
Unit 3: Conflict Management within the Private Security Industry
Assessed by a 30 minute 20 question multiple-choice examination. Candi-dates must achieve a score of at least 14 out of 20 to pass this unit.
Unit 4: Physical Intervention Skills within the Private Security Industry
Assessed in two parts. Part one is a practical test and part two is a written test set by the Awarding Body.
This qualification is usually achieved by taking a 5 day course.

Who should attend?

Anyone is able to attend - but we are able to provide free training for those aged 18-24

What will I be able to do on completion?

You will be guaranteed an interview with our sister company SGCFM where there is a large security section. Additionally, you will be able to apply for your SIA licence

How will I be assessed?

At the end of each unit there are assessments in the form of multiple choice exams, etc.
