Complementary HealthCare is a recognized and authorized course provider of the Complementary Medical Association (CMA). As a Complementary HealthCare student, enrolment on the Diploma in Flower Essence Therapy will enable you to join the CMA as a student member. Upon successful completion of the Diploma in Flower Essence Therapy, you can upgrade your membership and obtain insurance with the CMA to practice.

The Diploma is delivered via blended learning, which is a mixture of supported distance learning and face-to-face skills development (in Brighton, Sussex).
You can start the course at any time of the year. You can have the face-to-face skills development at times to suit you. You will be working under supervision, with a range of volunteer clients in a real therapeutic environment.

This part is taken through supported distance learning and covers: What counselling is and isn’t - Counselling approaches - The role of counselling skills - The role of confidentiality - The Johari Window - Verbal and non-verbal language - Listening skills - Using effective questioning - Paraphrasing and reflecting feelings - Offering challenge and feedback - Valuing diversity - Increasing client’s self esteem - Managing change - Goal setting - Ending the counselling skills process
Consultation and Counselling Skills:
This part is taken through supervised skills development in Brighton, Sussex.
