Who should attend?

This qualification is designed for those wishing to apply for an Security Industry Authority (SIA) Door Supervisor Licence; this is the qualification needed to work as a Doorman or Bouncer in pubs, bars, clubs, restaurants and Events.

What will I be able to do on completion?

On completion of this Course, the student will be able to apply to the SIA for their Door Supervisor Licence. Without this approved Training, the Learner is unable to apply for this.

How will I be assessed?

Unit 1: Working in the Private Security Industry is assessed by a 1 hour examination, consisting of 40 multiple-choice questions. Candidates must achieve a score of at least 28 out of 40 to pass this unit.
Unit 2: Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry is assessed by a 1 hour 15 minute examination, containing 45 multiple-choice questions. Candidates must achieve a score of at least 32 out of 45 to pass this unit.
Unit 3: Conflict Management within the Private Security Industry is assessed by a 30 minute examination, consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions. Candidates must
achieve a score of at least 14 out of 20 to pass this unit.
Unit 4: Physical Intervention Skills within the Private Security Industry is assessed in two parts. Part one is a practical test and part two is a written test.
