Statutory Fire Safety Training course

The Basic Fire Safety Course for the Care is designed to give employees of any level in the caring industry, an understanding of the importance of Fire Safety and fire prevention.

Candidate Suitability
The course is suitable for anyone who wishes to gain a basic knowledge of fire safety and fire prevention.

Course Objectives
Upon completion of the course, the candidate will have gained an understanding of the following:

• Fire safety in the context of their workplace
• Fire plan
• Correct action to take in the event of a fire
• Fire legislation
• Causes of fire
• Fire hazards and risk assessment
• Classifications of fire and the intended usage of fire extinguishers
• First aid
• Fire prevention


Course Duration
The course is conducted over a period of 3 hours, which can be flexible to suit your requirements.

Qualification
Each candidate will be awarded a certificate of attendance.

Assessment
The candidates are assessed continuously throughout the course by the tutor on theory.

Course Fees
Each session is £250 for a maximum of 10 candidates plus mileage @ 0.32p/mile
