Objectives: After completing this course, you will know how to: Use names to assign descriptive labels to cells; use financial functions to calculate values based on conditions. Use data tables to view the effects of multiple input values on a formula. Use the Subtotal command, the Subtotal function and database functions to summarise list data; and use data forms and validation to facilitate data entry in lists; and use data tables to project values. Create and use PivotTables to analyse and compare large amounts of data. Import data from and export data to external databases. Use Goal Seek and Solver to perform what-if analysis; and use custom scenarios, advance custom views and pivot tables to manage large worksheets. Run and record macros to automate complex or repetitive tasks. Publish a worksheet as an interactive Web page. Apply financial formulas and array formulas in Data Tables to determine outcomes. Prerequisites: This course is designed for students who have completed the Excel 2003 Intermediate or have equivalent knowledge. It is not suitable as an introduction for people who have little or no experience with this software. Target Audience: Anyone wishing to consolidate and expand their knowledge, to include some of the more complex functionality of Excel.
