What topics are covered by the course?

1. All the basic lifts
2. Olympic lifting movements
3. Lunges, squats
4. Movement drills through varying planes, including rotation
throwing and catching
5. Loaded movement drills, such as running
6. Core training abdominal's, Back and Glutes
7. Group sessions and one-2-one

Who should attend?

We understand that everyone who comes onto our course have some nerves; and that is fine. We have all types of people on the Strength and functional Bag Training course from those who have been out of education of many years; to those who are highly education; some that have learning difficulties, many who have never been in a gym before, to those who live in the gym. Most of all, people just like YOU.

What will I be able to do on completion?

1. Enhance your PT sessions by incorporating Strength and functional Bag Training
2. Create a diverse and hardcore class based around S&F Bag training or
3. Throw Strength and Functional Bags into Circuits classes to push your guys to the next level!

In essence bag training unlike traditional weight training equipment utilizes the movement and instability within the system itself to create an element of unpredictability during lifting. This design feature forces the stabilizing muscles to accommodate to shifts in weight during the course of the movement. This helps to make bag training more effective than many training approaches towards improving performance in real world situations be they sporting or otherwise.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed on how preform some exercises from the Manual to your class mates on the day.
