Locksmiths Course Outline
The two day locksmith course is ideal for the person with little or no previous experience, wishing to learn the skills and techniques to set out on a new and rewarding career. Our two day course will provide you with all the information and techniques required to easily enable you to start a locksmith career.
The course will teach you:
The working principles of pin tumbler and lever locks and how to pick cylinders
The correct method to pick open 2,3 and 5 lever mortice locks
The use of pick gun, letterbox toolkit abd key cutting techniques
All materials and tools will be provided: all you need to bring is yourself, a pen and a pad. The course will run from 9 am to 4 pm with a half hour lunch break. Our tutors are time served locksmiths with over 20 years experience
Electrical Course Outline
An introduction to installation, this two day course is ideal for anyone who is interested in electrical installation in the home, for other trades that need basic electrical knowledge to complement their other skills or electricians with skill gaps in domestic wiring. The course is also ideal for anyone thinking of a career change as this course will give you a gentle introduction to electrical installation without signing up to an expensive one-year course only to find out "it is not for you!"
The foundation course will teach you:
The wiring of ring circuits, radial circuits and lighting circuits (one way, two way and intermediate)
The correct way to terminate cables in the fuse board and at wiring accessories.
Earth bonding and the correct earthing of electrical circuit.
Fault finding and basic regulations needed to carry out safe electrical installation, and Safe isolation of electrical circuits for work to be carried out.

Glazing Course Outline
An introduction to glazing installation, this course is ideal for anyone who is interested in the glass industry. Glaziers cut and fit new glass panes and other glazing materials on a range of commercial, industrial and domestic premises. Jobs range from fitting double glazing on a house to installing the windows in a new office development. Glaziers also work on the repair and maintenance of glazing, including windscreens.
