Door Supervisor Course

The Door Supervisor training allows an individual to work in the security industry as both a door supervisor and as a security guard. It is one of the most popular security training courses available. The SIA Door Supervisor license allows an individual to work in all the premises that a security guard can work in, the individual can also work in premises that offer entertainment and alcohol, for example nightclubs, casinos, hotels and pubs.

This course is held at our training facilities in Carmarthen, Wales. Our facility includes a modern, fully equipped training room with comprehensive IT support and on-site admin support.

Who should attend?

Anyone who wants to be trained as a Door Supervisor.

What will I be able to do on completion?

On completion of the course the student will be able to apply for an S.I.A. badge and work in the security industry.

How will I be assessed?

The Student will be assessed on the practical side of physical intervention by the in house instructors and also complete an examination from our external examining body.

Upskilling.
If you’re a qualified Door Supervisor and your badge is coming up for renewal, here at GuardWatch Training we offer a one day refresher course, this course will help you to stay up to date with more advanced techniques and also update your current skills that you have collected over the 3 years of your licence. This is a one day course.
Door Supervisors that achieved their qualification prior to June 2011 will now be required to achieve a qualification in order to renew their license. Intended to create consistency throughout the industry, the new qualification for renewal will cover physical intervention skills, first aid awareness, legislation with regard to children and young people and the threat of terrorism.
