Who should attend?

Anyone wishing to work in the Private Security Industry. You have to be licensed to do so and this is the most popular course to get your foot in the door.

What will I be able to do on completion?

On successful completion the student will be able to apply to the SIA for a License to operate and gain employment.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment is by way of 4 multiple choice examinations covering all of the 4 areas listed in the "course topics" section.
Units 1, 2 and 3 are assessed by means of multiple choice question papers.

Unit 1 assessment consists of 20 multiple choice questions answered in 40 minutes.
Unit 2 assessment consists of 20 multiple choice questions.
Unit 3 assessment consists of 20 multiple choice questions answered in 40 minutes.
Unit 4 is practical assessment and a short written paper.
