What topics are covered by the course?

The aims of this Computer Aided Design (CAD) course is to teach new CAD users the skills required to understand and use AutoCAD effectively in a CAD office environment and to reach a nationally recognized standard. This is a 2D foundation course using the Industry Standard CAD package, AutoCAD.

Who should attend?

This course is for beginners who have a keen interest in learning Computer Aided Design. The course is 60 hours taught on a flexible learning basis.

What will I be able to do on completion?

7579-03-301 (2D CAD Level 3) - AutoCAD
7579-01-101 (CAD Parametric Modelling Level 1) Autodesk Inventor

How will I be assessed?

City and Guilds 7579-02 Computer Aided Design can be taken as an option at end of course. To achieve the C&G qualification you will need to take two drawing practical exams and one multiple choice question paper
