Modules include general horticultural skills and practices as well as specific studies such as Commercial Vegetable Production, Fruit Production, Cut Flower Production, Organics, Herb Culture, Hydroponics, Irrigation, Engineering, Permaculture, Nuts, Berries and Mushrooms. DURATION: Normally 3 years full time or 5-7 years part time, but may be completed in 2 years with extra effort. This may in some situations be considered similar to a foundation degree or associate degree. * Requirements: Completion of 24 modules (combined duration at least 2400 hours) including Research Projects I, II PLUS 100 hours of work experience or industry meetings. * Prerequisites: Year 12 plus; or a vocational certificate (of 600 hours); or over 21 years of age.
