ESS (ENTERTAINMENT) SUPPORT SERVICES ESS is a course provider and employment advisor, set up to help people get into jobs working in the music business, such as band management. MUSIC - In 2002 ESS became a registered associate trainer with the New Deal Scheme, advising Musicians on promotion, gigs and support tours. Since then it has helped people on the In-Biz Self Employment Initiative who are setting themelves up as owners of live entertainment venues or as entertainment/theatrical agents. Also ESS, together with some major record company A&R representatives has been an invited speaker at the Brit School in London for talks and seminars on getting started in the music business and in particular promoting bands overseas tours. OTHER - ESS also gives advice and direction to people who are keen to get work experience via job placement and so build a CV in order to enhance their employment prospects.
