The programme explores the Microsoft Windows® 2000 operating system, and its role in running software applications, connecting to internet and intranet sites, accessing files, printers and network resources, and connecting employees, customers and suppliers. By qualifying in A+ as the first step, students will be able to take advantage of career opportunities in hardware/service engineering at an early stage, whilst continuing to study for the MCSE. On completion of the MCSE, they will be equipped with all the skills they need to get on the career ladder as a network professional, whilst already having practical experience under their belts
