It includes separate modules aimed at developing proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and databases and requires the student to demonstrate competence in using the computer’s presentation tools. The final module teaches skills in internet tools and concludes with instruction in the use and management of electronic mail. Students successfully completing this course will be given the option to transfer to a main career course, available in a range of IT disciplines including programming, networking, systems analysis, website design and database management
