Upon successful completion of the course students will have the knowledge and skills to implement a database solution, construct and manage databases with Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 and utilise Microsoft’s database query language – Transact SQL. Students have the opportunity to undertake an optional advanced Oracle stage. This further module concentrates on Oracle8 and successful completion will enable students to administer an Oracle8 database that includes provision for allowing user access, creation and maintenance of a database, database security issues and working with SQL databases
