Course Format

1. Classroom based group training of 5 days (can be in 2+3 day modules)
2. 1 skill based assessment. (In the classroom)
3. 1 written assessment. (In the classroom)
4. Self-study Unit Work amounting to a minimum of 15 hours study with 4 written exercises to be submitted for assessment.
5. Work Based Research presented as a Written Report

Pre-requisites

A basic working knowledge of diversity principles, a basic knowledge of employment legislation and some basic interviewing skills are useful prerequisites for the course. Students should show at application stage that they feel they can meet the course requirements. This can be through qualifications, work achievements, or demonstration of ability. Level 4 coursework involves specialist learning and detailed analysis of a high level of information and knowledge in an area of work or study. Learning at this level is appropriate for people working in technical and professional jobs, and/or managing and developing others.

Students will have six months from registration to complete the course (an extension up to one year can be made in certain circumstances).
