What topics are covered by the course?

The CompTIA Server+ certification exam covers system hardware, software, storage, best practices in an IT environment, disaster recovery and troubleshooting.

Who should attend?

Technical support professionals with 18 to 24 months of IT experience. Although not a prerequisite, CompTIA recommends test-takers have 18 to 24 months experience in server technology, along with a CompTIA A+ certification.

What will I be able to do on completion?

This test will certify that the successful candidate has the knowledge and skills required to build, maintain, troubleshoot and support server hardware and software technologies. The successful candidate will be able to identify environmental issues; understand and comply with disaster recovery and physical / software security procedures; be familiar with industry terminology and concepts; understand server roles / specializations and interaction within the overall computing environment.

How will I be assessed?

The CompTIA Server+ exam consists of 100 questions to be completed in 90 minutes via a computer based exam. The minimum passing score is 750 on a scale of 100-900. Test results are displayed as soon as you complete the exam.
