The ITEC Diploma in Reflexology (which should be studied either alongside or after taking Anatomy & Physiology & Professional Conduct & Business Awareness) is designed to qualify the student in the art of Reflexology. Reflexology uses pressure on the feet with thumb and finger movements to promote good health. It releases tension, relieves stress and pain, improves nerve and blood supply and restores the natural balance of your body. This course will enable therapists to gain a firm knowledge and understanding of Reflexology to provide safe and effective treatments on their clients.

Learning & Examinations:
The course consists of 75 hours in-house training & assessment plus home study. You will be required to complete case studies during your training period, this is comprised of treating 10 clients 4 separate times with a full reflexology treatment and recording the outcomes. These will be handed in and marked by your tutor during your course and then be brought in for the practical exam and shown to the examiner.
All lectures are supported with overheads, anatomical charts and teaching aids such as skeletal models, interactive learning is always encouraged.
Upon satisfactory completion of a mock theory, students will be eligible to sit the ITEC Diploma in Reflexology Level 3 examination which comprises a 1 hour Multiple Choice Theory Paper comprising 50 questions and 1 hour Practical Examination. Once qualified, students will be awarded an ITEC Diploma in Reflexology and become qualified as a Reflexologist to work on clients. You can also then further your studies if you wish to go on to learn Holistic Massage, Aromatherapy or Sports Massage.

You will be expected to purchase the recommended course theory book that we suggest prior to the start date and also pay for the exam fees which are £80.00. Pre-requisite for Course:
This is a level 3 Diploma, ITEC recommend that candidates should hold at least 5 GCSE's at grades C or above or equivalent, but this is not by any means essential and is at the discretion of the college, we believe that each person is unique and has personal life skills which they are gifted with and these will always be taken into consideration in accepting students onto this course. please telephone us on 0208 287 6364 for an informal chat about this. Any student wishing to enrol on this course must also hold an ITEC Anatomy & Physiology Diploma or equivalent and a Professional Conduct & Business Awareness (Unit 22). These can be studied alongside Reflexology if you wish to complete all 3 at the same time and qualify as a therapist.
