First Aid Appointed Person
Introduction
The course is suitable for organisations where a qualified first aider is not
required, but where there must be an ‘appointed person’ to satisfy the needs of
the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. It is also suitable for people
who wish to gain an understanding of First Aid emergency procedures. There is
no exam and a certificate of attendance is issued.
Who Should Attend
Persons who are deemed suitable and are intended to fulfil the role of an
‘appointed person’. Participants are advised to dress appropriately as they will be
required to work on the floor for practical sessions.
