1 Day Water Regulations Qualification ( Plumbing ) Plumbers and heating engineers who will work on the installation and use of water supply systems need to undertake training in this area in order to complete the work competently and correctly. Owners and occupiers of premises, and anyone who installs plumbing systems or water fittings have the legal duty to ensure that the system satisfy the regulations. Advanced notice must be given of proposed installations in most cases, so architects, building developers and plumbers have to follow the regulations on behalf of future owners or occupiers. Passing this exam means that you can legally carry out plumbing installations. A course booklet will be supplied to each candidate for revision approximately 2 weeks before attending the exam for revision. When attending this course it is important that you bring your national insurance number and 2 x passport size photographs with you . This is to ensure no mistakes are made on the production of your Water Regulations Advisory Scheme I.D card.
