You will work in a purpose built bay 8ft x 8ft and the course modules will be:
1. Demonstration and uses of plumbing tools and materials.
2. Install a fully operational bathroom suite comprising of bath, wash basin, W.C, kitchen sink all with taps and waste fittings and a hose union bib tap with valves.
3. Complete pipe work using different tee’s, valves and compression fittings.
4. Use blow torches and solder to connect copper pipe work.
5. Instructed on cold water storage tanks and cylinders.
6. Learn how different water and waste systems operate.
7. System Components
8. Relevant health and safety procedures.
9. General maintenance requirements.
These above modules are covered on our 5 day courses with a scaled down version available on our 2 day weekend courses for D.I.Y purposes.
Shropshire Building Skills will give you the confidence to tackle any project with complete confidence.Training starts at 8.45am until approximately 4.30pm. All tools and materials will be supplied and we have an on-site tool shop for all candidates to purchase new tools at trade prices if you wish.
