Who should attend?

This training is designed for people who carry out maintenance and repairs to traction and rolling stock. The training is provided across a range of skills from axle bearing maintenance to full systems and fault diagnosis training. Training programmes can be developed with customers to support the introduction of new fleets and to improve the reliability of existing fleets. Training programmes are developed to ensure that the requirements of safety critical competencies are delivered as part of the training wherever possible and this also contributes to the requirements of National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs).

What will I be able to do on completion?

This training is designed for people who carry out maintenance and repairs to traction and rolling stock. The training is provided across a range of skills from axle bearing maintenance to full systems and fault diagnosis training. How will I be assessed?

Assessment is an ongoing process throughout the course.

Attendance Requirements

Delegates would ideally be working in a traction and rolling stock maintenance environment and have some basic technical skills.
