The purpose of this online course is to raise awareness and equip workers with the underpinning knowledge and key skills to identify abuse and take appropriate action. The No Secrets policy ("In Safe Hands" in Wales), lays down guidelines for multi-agency codes of practice to prevent and tackle abuse. It requires all relevant agencies and organisations to ensure that personnel have a baseline understanding of abuse and how it can be recognised.
