At Construction Skills Training we offer hands-on practical Carpentry training. This 5 day intensive short course is designed so that you are involved at every stage and are participating throughout to acquire both knowledge and skills.
v How to use hand tools such as chisels, planes etc.
v How to cut basic joints.
v Cut and fit Dado rails, architraves, skirting boards and door
furniture.
v Lay laminate flooring
v Fit a door lining and/or frame
v Hang a door
v Fit door furniture

All aspects of your training is provided in our purpose built construction training centre. This ensures the standard of training given by our highly skilled instructors is of the highest quality and is equal to everyone, regardless of age, ability or gender.
Our Carpentry training and its department adheres to City & Guilds requirements, therefore excellent facilities are in place for you to work through this intensive training course.
No previous experience is required to take part in this course. The course is suitable to anyone who is looking to complete a DIY project or who is looking to move forward and develop a career in carpentry.
