Rendering & Plastering
Construction Skills Training has devised this 5 day FOUNDATION course to introduce you to the aspects of both Rendering and Plastering. Whether you are a complete beginner or someone who has limited knowledge of plastering the course has been specifically designed to not only provide you with an insight into the practical skills required for plastering but to build your confidence and knowledge by involving you throughout every stage of this hands-on practical course.
During the course you will be taught how to:
· Apply your first coat render with a keyed finish using lamitex.
· Apply your second coat render and to level off with a feather
edge.
· Apply a rough scratch finish using a float.
· Apply corner beads to pillars using lamitex.
· Mix plaster to correct consistency.
· Apply plaster to plasterboards.
· Achieve a polished finish.

Further Details
All aspects of your training is provided in our purpose built construction training centre, which adheres to City & Guilds requirements. This ensures the standard of training given by our highly skilled instructors is of the highest quality and is equal to everyone, regardless of age, ability or gender.
No previous experience is required to take part in this course. The course is suitable to anyone who is looking to tackle small plastering projects around the home or as a taster for someone who is looking to move forward and develop a career in plastering.
If you are looking to take plastering a step further or to the next level why not try either our 5 DAY INTERMEDIATE or our 10 DAY INTENSIVE and/or for the more specialised skills why not try our 5 DAY ADVANCED.
