The course will give you a great insight to tools and techniques applied for tiling. The course covers the following: * An introduction to the tools required for the job * Cutting tiles using hand and power tools * Removal of existing flooring using power tools * How to repair floors using self-leveller * Working out patterns and where to start the cuts * Cutting tiles around obstacles * Applying adhesives and laying tiles using spacers * Laying first tiles and cuts * Laying wall tiles and working out patterns * Laying floor tiles using adhesive and spacers * Laying wall and floor tiles on steps * Tiling on pillars * Cutting around corners using edging and spacers * How to use mitre tools for both tiles and trims * How to set out, cut and lay floor and wall boarder tiles effectively * Grouting and finishing off with a sponge
