HSE Accredited First Aid at Work (Refresher)

This course has been developed to refresh the delegates knowledge on the subject, inform of any changes to regulations / best practice and provide a platform where practical skills can be updated & specific scenerios can be played out. The scenerios can be tailored to your specific orgaisations previous incidents.

The course syllabus is as follows:

-- The ability to act safely, promptly, effectively when an emergency situation occurs.

-- CPR (adult, children & infant)
-- Care of the unconscious casualty
-- How & when to use the recovery position
-- First Aid action for the severely bleeding casualty
-- Treatment for head trauma
-- Choking (adult, children & infants)
-- Action for burns and scolds
-- Action for fractures, dislocations & soft tissue injuries
-- Action for the casualty in shock
-- Action for the casualty with an eye injury
-- Poisons, fumes
-- When & how to safely move a casualty
-- The ability to recognise common major / minor illnesses
-- The necessity for accurate, timely recording of information

We specialise in delivering effective, affordable & enjoyable training, all of our trainers are HSE registered and experts in their field. We can combine short courses to deliver multi-topic training days in house.
