The Emergency First Aid (Appointed Person) training day is designed for individuals who may be required to assist in cases of emergency, assist a First Aider and provide emergency First Aid until the Emergency Services arrive and take over.

It is imperative to understand that as an Appointed person you will still be required to have an underpinning knowledge of the basics of life saving techniques.

The course content will cover:


Health and safety (First Aid) Regulations.
Managing an incident.
The priorities of first aid.
Treatment of an unconscious casualty.
Resuscitation (CPR).
Shock.
Bleeding.
Common workplace injuries

The training for the one day Emergency First Aid can also be delivered at your location or if necessary, on site.

Training provided at your location or on respective sites can be provided on dates to suit your requirements, subject to numbers nominated for the training.

Training is provided by a First Responder for the Great Western Ambulance Service.

This Training Course is taught in classrooms in the following locations:

Gloucester
