Beginner's jewellery course

What topics are covered by the course?

The 2 days will guide you through the basics of jewellery making including soldering, annealing, pickling, sawing, shaping & forming etc. This will be done by following set projects from a small booklet.

Who should attend?

This course is suitable for complete beginner's, individuals who want to refresh past skills or beaders who want to move onwards into more of the metalworking aspects of jewellery making.

What will I be able to do on completion?

On completion of the course students will be awarded with a certificate and will then be able to enrol on regular weekly studio sessions.

How will I be assessed?

A short questionnaire is completed at the end of the two days to assess the student's knowledge of the subject.

Projects are made from copper which is included in the course fee. An upgrade to silver is available on the day at an extra cost. Free parking is available next to the building.
