Who should attend?

The ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management program is designed to meet the needs of:(1) Newly appointed supervisors who require training and support in the principles of effective leadership and management; (2) Aspiring team members seeking skills to support their career development plans; (3) Junior managers and supervisors, who need to enhance their knowledge and skills to improve personal performance, and better meet the demands of the organization and their jobs; and (4) Managers in both the commercial and public sectors.

What will I be able to do on completion?

Candidates will be required to complete at least 4 credits (3 to 4 courses) to qualify for the award. On completion, candidates will be awarded a certificate from the Institute of Leadership and Management (The ILM). This nationally (and internationally) recognized certificate can be used in job and promotion applications, and as credit towards further ILM and national vocational qualifications.

How will I be assessed?

All courses comprises at least 2 online m/c quizzes. For each course of study in the program, candidates for the Award will be required to complete a written assignment (approx. 1200 words).
