This nationally recognised qualification course is designed for prospective or current educators/ trainers in private or public sector organisations. The course is also the first unit of the 7304 qualification. We also offer the 7304 course. The 7303 is a four or five day course, (depending on delegate numbers), with each participant making a 30 to 45 minute (assessed) presentation on the final day or two. The course is run through our approved City & Guilds centre - centre number - 002266 and delivered on your premises on dates to suit you or monthly at our conference centre at J3 of the M25 - Swanley - Kent. No previous experience or qualifications are required, other than an effective command of the English language and having skills/ experience/ knowledge that are suitable to be taught to others. This course can be used by educators new to their jobs in further education, to 'get in to' the many aspects of teaching effectively, quickly. This is an introductory qualification that will confer a threshold license to teach. All new teachers in the learning and skills sector must complete this qualification. The course can be used to follow the remaining levels to obtain 'Full Teacher Role' - if appropriate. It is based on the teaching/training cycle and is assessed by two assignments, one theory and one practical, both of which are broken down into smaller, prescriptive assignment tasks.

Further Details

If training organisations are receiving public funding (for example through the local LSC – Learning and Skills Council) OR indirectly by undertaking training for public organisations (including QUANGOS) trainers will be required to obtain the 7303 (license to teach qualification, followed by the 7304 (CTLLS) OR the 7305 (DTLLS).
