3 Day First Aid at Work Course
This comprehensive 3-day course covers a wide range of First Aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with an emergency situation with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way. In addition to this, should there have been any change to protocols during their initial qualification, then this will be updated.
This course will give the participants a qualification to the highest level of First Aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
Further Details
A minimum of 18 hours spread over at least 3 days. Ideally, the course should be run over 3 consecutive days, but we have the flexibility to accommodate your specific needs if you so desire.
A range of subjects is covered including:-
Legalities Responsibilities and reporting
Assessment of the situation
Anaphylaxis, Spinal Injuries, Unconscious casualty Resuscitation, Heart Attacks, Choking, Poisoning
Control of bleeding, Bandaging, Fractures, Burns,
Head injuries, Eye injuries, Sprains, Strains,
Shock, Asthma, Diabetes, Epilepsy.
