What topics are covered by the course?

On this course you will learn about nutrition and its relationship to good health. You will be able to identify nutrients, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants and offer clients nutritional advice, highlighting the importance of exercise and energy balance for weight management. You will be able to recommend sensible healthy eating strategies and modify recipes and diets for a variety of needs.

Who should attend?

L2 Fitness Instructors who would like to offer nutritional advice to their clients. You must have L2 gym or exercise to music to take part in this course.

What will I be able to do on completion?

Offer healthy eating advice to their fitness clients, analyse their diets and make sound factual-based recommendations.

How will I be assessed?

Multiple-choice exam, case study and worksheets. Please note the multiple-choice exam is in the Sunderland area, Tyne & Wear.

This qualification is for fitness instructors who have complete
L2 Gym or ETM who want to offer nutritional advice to fitness clients.

It is also one of the units from the Personal Trainer course.

You will learn about the theory of Nutrition and healthy eating in relation to exercise and complete a case study on a friend/colleague. You will analyse their current eating habits and make recommendations.

There is a theory exam with this course which will take place in SUNDERLAND (SR3 2AN)
