This course includes a 1 hour 15 minute examination and a 2 hour 15 minute practical assessment. Candidates must pass the written examination and the practical assessment to be awarded the BOHS Proficiency Certificate in this module.

Legislation - 20%
Management of Asbestos in buildings - 30%
Asbestos remediation - 20%
Role of the Laboratory / Analyst - 5%
Practical Work - 25%
